This is the final edited film opening.

 For our movie poster, we decided to create a picture of an evil Sour Patch kid, since that is the main focus of the film. We worked with Canva and Google to produce this:   

 When we were adding the clips to the movie, we couldnt access apple music to add a soundtrack in. It kept on saying that it was unavailable.  We ended up using one audio that iMovie provides called "Ambient effect 2" and layered that over the clips. For the last couple of seconds, we ended up recording a sound off of apple music on voice memos called " Wrath" and worked with iMessage on the Mac to get it into iMovie. 

 For this film, we decided to use iMovie to edit this. We filmed some parts multiple times so we were able to pick which ones we liked best and so we can clip them all together. I sent the clips from my phone to my Mac computer and then added them to the iMovie editing area. We started by putting the clips in order and playing the movie. We kept on changing this such as the length of the clips, deleted any bloopers, and made some scenes floe with each other such as when I sit on the couch and when I close the bathroom door.  We then deleted the audio from the clips and added eerie music to help foreshadow the events that were going to come.  We also added a freeze frame on the last clip to show the drawing on the mirror and then added a fade into black with a j cut.

 Since we had to change our concept of our film, we also had to change the title. We knew that these ideas needed to come from something regarding the Sour patch used in the film. We ended up with a title; Gummy Grave. We also wanted to make a poster promoting the movie. We worked closely with canva and ended up with this. 

 As we started filming, we were trying to find the best angles to use and what would really portray the settings and events happening.    We were looking over our notes on camera angles so we could find the shots that fit the events best. We used shots such as over the shoulder, low angle shot, establishing shot, tilt shot, and still shots. 

So we had planned to film on wednesday 4/9/15 which everything was great we had the date set and our actors were available until there club had a meeting after school and they had short notice in which it was too close to the date to change our film day, so Jake and I decided to change the film to a horror slash comedy where I was attacked by sentient candy. We came up with this idea on the spot and we had to be resourceful and use whatever we had although it wasn't what we had planned it turned out pretty well.  We used household objects such as the book "Pride and Prejudice", the Sour patch kids, the oreos in the pantry, the knife, and the lipstick used to write on the mirror.

The oreos showed in the scene of the pantry, the book was in the opening with the girl on the couch, and the sour patch with the knife was the main part of the plot.  

 My partner and I have been trying to figure out a name for our film. Since the film opening is inspired by the game and movie Clue, we don’t want to directly get our film title from the movie. When we had our original idea for our film, we were leaning towards naming it “The Nabber”, but since we changed the overall idea and feel of the movie, we decided to also change the title to better match the film.  Our new film title is most likely going to be  “Deadly Secrets”. We are in the middle of shooting pictures of the movie poster so we can eventually add it into our CCR.
